Coal chemical wastewater
The coal-derived chemical industry uses coal as raw material for conversion and utilization, and relevant wastewater primarily involves three aspects: coking wastewater, coal gasification wastewater and coal liquefaction wastewater. The wastewater quality components are complex, especially high content of COD, ammonia nitrogen, phenolic substances, and simultaneously contains fluoride, thiocyanide and other toxic substances. The coal chemical industry has enormous water consumption, along with high concentration of wastewater contaminants. The large-scale and rapid development of coal chemical industry has brought significant environmental problems, and the lack of relevant wastewater treatment technology has become an important factor limiting the further development.
